Bistro de Waddenzee

In Harlingen's Nieuwe Willemshaven, a new expedition centre is bringing the town's maritime stories into view, exhibition by exhibition. Bistro de Waddenzee is the first of them: fishing then, now and next. Synergique developed the concept, the spatial and graphic design and the animations.

We turned a shipping container into a fish restaurant. At the table, visitors pick a dish and its story appears on the tablecloth. It shows just how closely fishing and Harlingen are still bound together.
